Very Basic BUT Very Effective

Updated: Jul 19, 2021

I don't know about you but I get swamped. Being a business owner, raising a family, volunteering and all the other things life throws at you . . . I Get Very Busy!

The unfortunate part is when things get busy for us, our workouts are one of the first things to be neglected. It's easy to justify not taking the time to get to camp or kettlebell classes or run or whatever your workout was supposed to consist of that day.

I spend my days either teaching, creating new workouts or talking to people about workouts and diet . . . Trust me, some days the last thing I want to do is go run or do a workout.

So what have I found to be the most effective FOR ME . . . plan and calendar my days. In fact, the days I plan out on my calendar are the most successful days for me in all aspects. It keeps me focused and with purpose . . . If not, I'm on IG and FB looking at stuff or lost in Pinterest.

If I add my tasks to my calendar and block out how much time I plan on taking to complete them, add my Run or Workout when I KNOW I have the time to do it and even add things like lunch with a friend or with the kids . . . . It keeps me on track.

I try to look over my tasks, meetings, classes, PT and appointments for the week. When I see a busy day, I know I better make sure I block out time to Run or workout otherwise there is a very high probability it might not happen.

I just use my phone with reminders for each to also help me stay on track.

So you see . . .Simple, Basic Yet Effective.

Have a Great Week!
